Reach your computer AI from your phone
When you leave your desk, Shennian Steward lets you ask your computer AI for an update from the mobile app. The computer must remain on and online, and the selected AI must be available. Your AI provider’s fees and limits still apply.
Three steps to your first update
Step 1: Connect your computer AI
Send this to a working computer AI such as Codex or Claude Code:
Reuse my existing Shennian installation, or follow https://shennian.net/install.md to install shennian cli and skill, connect this computer, and check that the selected AI actually replies. Do not install or sign in to other AI tools for me.
Step 2: Find the computer on your phone
Get the mobile app from shennian.net and sign in with the same account. Open the Steward and select the connected online computer and an available AI. Your computer does the work; your phone keeps you connected.
Step 3: Ask about one project
Start by naming the project to check:
Check progress on “enter the project name here”. Tell me what is done, what remains, and what needs my decision. Only check status; do not change files or send messages yet.
After receiving a reply, explicitly assign the next task. Connecting Shennian does not automatically take over every native AI conversation.
